Community Presentation Request

Thank you for your interest in Four Paws and a Wake Up-NC. We greatly appreciate your support, and the opportunity to educate the community about the work we do.

Four Paws and a Wake Up presentations are best suited for groups with an interest in learning about the important role of Service Dogs in the lives of people with disabilities.  Presentations run about 30 to 45 minutes to an hour and include the following information:

• Four Paws and a Wake Up mission and overview

• Types of Service Dogs we train

• What our Service Dogs do for clients

• The journey of a Four Paws and a Wake Up Service Dog

• Service Dog etiquette

• Service Dog access training

 

Please note: Our Service Dogs complete their months of training with a staff member or volunteer trainer; therefore, we are not able to guarantee the attendance of dogs for presentations. We ask for at least 2 weeks advance notice and cannot guarantee participation.

Due to the number of requests we receive, we ask that all interested parties, please fill out this brief questionnaire about your event/request. All requests will be reviewed by staff and sent a response in 3-5 business days.
